We do not use your data to serve you ads. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third party.
When you use the Snap feature, your food photo is sent securely to OpenAI's API (GPT-4o) for nutritional analysis. OpenAI processes the image to identify food items and estimate macros. This is governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
We do not store your food photos on our servers after analysis is complete. Photos are transmitted, analyzed, and discarded — they are not retained or used to train our own models.
Munchify integrates with a small number of trusted third-party services to function:
Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy. We do not share more data with them than is necessary for the feature to function.
Your data is stored on Supabase-managed servers with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS). Access to your data is protected by row-level security — your information is only accessible to you and authorized app operations.
While we implement industry-standard safeguards, no online system is completely immune to security risks. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

Munchify is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised. Continued use of Munchify after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
